Everyone were in the lanai. The twins playing in their playground with the adults looking at them. Maya carrying baby Sean.
“Nakakatuwa talaga ang mga anak mo Maya.”
“Oo nga po nay eh, malaking tulong po talaga ang mga ate at kuya.”
“Oh mom, you’re really so sweet.”
“hahaha..nakakatuwa kayong mag-ina. Hay,nakakamiss din ung may batang hinahabol.”
“Naku ma, mahirap pag kambal.” And they all laughed.
Sky then took a sandwich from the table. Sunshine took a banana.
“Sky, throw the plastic properly after. Sunshine you too.”
“Yes mommy.” Sunshine answered, Sky nods his head as he was already munching his sandwich.
The adults resumed on their talks. Sky finished his food and he went by the garbage area. Three colored containers were there. Sky called out his mom.
“What color mommy?” He was holding out the plastic.
“The pink one Sky.” Sky throw the plastic on the pink container as told.
“Mommy?” It was Sunshine’s turn.
“The green one Sunshine.”
“Very good kuya Sky and ate Sunshine.” The twins clapped their hands feeling happy with themselves.
Luke then went near the garbage with a bottle on his hand. The twins were looking at him. He acted on throwing the bottle in the pink container.
“No kuya yuke, wrong.” Sky told him. Luke then move on throwing it in the green container.
“Kuya Luke on the orange container. You put the bottle there.” Sunshine told.
“Okay, thanks Sky and Sunshine.” The twins grinned at the same time.
The grandparents were just watching and were in awe at what unfold before them.
“Wow! At their age they understood the importance of garbage segregation. Great job Maya.”
“I wasn’t aware na meron palang miting ngayon.” Ricky went straight to the lanai upon arrival hearing the laughter coming from there.
“Dahdi!!!” Sky shouted.
Ricky bent down to kiss his wife then his kids and gave respect to their parents too. Then Sky clung on him.
“Naku sweetheart, nagseselos na ko ah. Ikaw na hinahabol ni Sky.”
“hahaha.. sweetheart, minsan lang yan. Hawak mo kasi si baby.” Ricky sat beside his wife and kissed her on the temple as everyone laughed at his quip.
“Hay, nakakatuwa talaga kayong mag-asawa.”
“Sweetheart, natutuwa kasi sila nanay, tatay, mama at papa kasi ung kambal marunong mag-segregate ng basura.”
“Ah. Well, family effort.”
“Un din sinabi ko sweetheart.hahaha”
The family’s talk continued until Sabel called them for dinner. Another great day well spent with their loved ones.
