If Only – San Nicolas Adventure 2
The siblings had been enjoying the province life that their parents decided to extend their vacation much to the delight of the kids and the grandparents.
In the afternoon, they usually go to the most romantic place as what their mom had name it. They would always have picnic and they play anything under the sun. Sky and Sunshine were enjoying much as well and sometimes would be the first ones to request to go there. Lolo tatay suggested one time they head to the place where they could teach the twins to fly paper planes and have paper boats float in the water.
Daddy Ricky, Lolo tatay and kuya Luke were in charged of creating the paper planes and paper boats.
Lola Nanay, Mommy Maya and Kute were in charged of the foods. As ate Nikki and ate Abby look after baby Sean.
“Dahdi, how it go up?”
Sky asks as he sits beside his dad who was busy making paper planes.
“When you throw this, the air will push it so it will fly.”
“Yes. You want to try?”
“Otei.” He answered as he nods his head. Ricky patiently instructs Sky how to do it as Maya takes a video of them.
“Okay, ready Sky?” The little boy nods, too serious. “Go!”
Sky throws the paper plane with all his might, but of course it won’t be too perfect. It just flew a bit and went down. The elders cheered for him though.
“Yehey. Good job Kuya Sky.” Mommy cheers on.
But the little boy was not appeased.
“Dahdi I want it fly high.” His frustration already showing as he was already red on the face.
Maya looked at her husband who looked back. They need to do something with Mr. Grumpy.
“Come here Sky. Daddy will help you.”
It took a lot of tries before Mr. Grumpy got satisfied.
“Mommy! I’m good!”
“Yes Sky. Very good. You’ll teach baby Sean, okay?”
“Sky, go to Kuya Luke. I’ll teach Sunshine to float paper boats.”
“I’ll watch dahdi.”
“Sige po dad, hawakan ko na lang si Sky.”
“Sunshine, come here. Daddy will teach you to float paper boats in the water.”
“Daddy, I don’t like.”
“It’s dirty daddy.”
Ricky was surprised, the girls laughed at Sunshine’s antics.
“Naku, may little Nikki na kami.”
“Mom!” Nikki protested but laughed at the same time.
“Sunshine, this water is not dirty.”
“I don’t like daddy.”
“Okay. You Sky, you want?”
Luke passed on Sky as he took Sunshine from their dad. Ricky carefully helps Sky put down the paper boats. They have successfully placed five.
“Wow! Galing naman ni Sky.”
Sky grins at his Kuya Luke.
“Girl na girl tong bunso nyo Richard ah. Di nagmana sa mommy nya.”
And they all laughed.
“Oo nga po tay. Nagmana sa ate Nikki nya.”
And another bout of laughter.
“O siya, tama na yan at kumain na tayo. Main it na masyado maya-maya.” Nay There cajoled everyone.
And they shared a sumptuous meal in a banana leaf which the kids love.
“Mukhang mananaba tong mga anak nyo Richard, Maya.”
“Okay lang yan kute.”
“Yes, tatits. It’s not everyday we get to experience things like this.”
“Wow! Nikki, ikaw ba yan?”
“Whatever Kuya. You won’t ruin my day here.”
Luke just chuckled.
“Ate Abby, nag-eenjoy ka ba?”
“Opo lola Nanay. Buti nga po meron na kaming province na mauuwian. Iba po ung pakiramdam.”
“Buti naman at nag-eenjoy kayo.”
“Mga anong oras pala dating nila Manang Fe?” Kute asked.
“Baka mga bandang hapon na Cristina Rose.” Ricky answered.
“Siguro excited din sila.”
“Naku nay, nung tawagan po namin ni Ricky para sabihin na mag-extend pa kami at kung gusto nilang sumunod naghiyawan na sila Doris at Sabel. Kaya higit pa sa excitement ang nararamdaman ng mga un.”
And they laughed once again and finish with their foods.
Another wonderful day spent by this wonderful family.
