If Only – Dinner Discussion
“Dad, meron din po ba kaming you and me time with you?” Nikki asked.
“Of course Niks. So, it will be Abby’s turn then you and then Luke. If he is still up to it.”
“Oo naman po dad, bakit hindi? Di ba po napagusapan na natin yan dati.” Luke answered making his dad smile.
“Dad gusto ko po sana ma-try ung Japanese resto dito na katulad nung nandun sa Japan.” Abby requested.
“Awww, I wanna try that too.” Nikki seconded.
“Well, if you want there as well Niks, pwede bang mauna si Luke sayo? Baka mapurga naman ako sa Japanese foods.” Making everyone laughed.
“Si Luke sweetheart san mo balak dalhin?” Maya asked.
“Sa bar.” He quickly answered without batting his eyelashes.
“Ricardo!” Maya exclaimed.
“hahaha, ang sweet ni mom.” Luke commented.
Maya walked over to their son and hugged him from behind.
“Naku naglalambing, wala pang girlfriend kuya?” Maya teased her son.
“Mommy…” Luke reacted.
Maya kissed him on the head before she walked back to her chair.
“Pano kaya pag si Sky nagka-girlfriend?”
Sky who was eating looked at his brother, then,
“No girlfriend until you’re thirty baby.”
Maya said as she tapped on his nose. Grumpy Sky frowned still not understanding what’s happening.
Ricky, Luke, Nikki and Abby looked at each other and laughed out loud.
“Eh si Sean mom?” Luke added.
“Luke, 4 at 1 year old pa lang mga kapatid nyo, wag muna nating isipin yan.”
“Luke, tama na yan.” Ricky’s warning.
“Don’t worry Luke, kaya lang sa inyong tatlo pa nga lang mahirap pa ring isipin na andun na kayo sa stage na yun.”
“Not me mommy.”
“Naku Abby I know, kasi for sure kahit si ate Nikki di rin naman agad papayagan ni kuya.”
“Syempre po mom, kaya nga ung little brothers lang sinasabi ko.”
“hahaha, ang swerte ng mga baby girls namin. Merong apat na handsome knights in shining armor.”
“Sige na, tama na yan, kain na tayo. Nakasimangot na si Sky.”
“hahaha, kuya Sky what’s the problem?”
“Mommy, can you help me please cut my chicken?”
Maya and Ricky looked at each other, loving the innocence of their kids.
“Of course baby, mommy would love to.”
